What We Collect

When you use Duckiehunt, we may collect the following information:

Account info — If you sign in via Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email address from the OAuth provider.
Duck sightings — Locations, dates, comments, and photos you voluntarily submit when marking a duck.
Usage data — We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous browsing data (pages visited, general location, device type).

How We Use Your Data

Display duck sightings on the public map and duck pages
Associate sightings with your account (if logged in)
Understand site usage to improve the experience

We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

Third-Party Services

Google Analytics — collects anonymous usage statistics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Google/Facebook OAuth — used for sign-in only. We do not post on your behalf.
Flickr — duck photos are hosted on Flickr and subject to their terms.
Google Maps — used to display location data.

Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and Google Analytics cookies for usage stats. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us through the Issue page. Anonymous submissions (made without logging in) cannot be attributed back to you.
